- Press Alt key or command key in Mac if Menu bar is not visible
- Choose Safari->Preferences.
- The Safari Preferences dialog opens.
- Click the General tab
- Choose location where the file is to be saved from "Save downloaded files to " dropdown list.
- Close the preferences dialog box.
- Download the file.
Similarly the setting can be changed in other browsers as well.
