This year we have two Nursery classes - the Penguins and the Dolphins. It has been a busy beginning to the year,  settling the children in and preparing the children for all the Jewish holidays.

Now that we have our routine in place we are going to be covering the following topics over the next few weeks:  colours, shapes, autumn, telling our own stories through picture books, transport and Chanukah.

After half term we will be learning about autumn. Parents are invited to collect autumn leaves with us.

Following our autumn topic we will learn about different modes of transport. To end this topic we will be going on a big coach to the RAF to enhance our learning further.

To end a wonderful first term we will be learning about lights all around us. This ties in with Chanukah, the festival of light.

Our busy week consists of four P.E. lessons as well as a music and yoga lessons.

We say Tefillah daily and have begun learning the weekly Parashiot using puppets and props to aid the children's understanding.
