Curriculum
Secular Studies
We believe that by having an intensive learning experience facilitated by smaller class sizes, children achieve the highest standards of secular education. The curriculum is developed to provide a broad and balanced education across English, Mathematics and Science, as well as History, Geography, Art, Music, Information Communication Technology, Physical Education and Sports. Particular emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy, pursuing continuous innovation in these subjects. Reading at all levels is emphasised with extensive use of the school's library facilities that lie at the heart of the school.
Jewish Studies
The essence of the Jewish Studies curriculum is centred on Humash study with Rashi. Much emphasis is placed on prayers, the study of Mitzvot and Rabbinic literature. Underscoring these areas is a programme of dynamic celebration of Shabbat and festivals through the year.
All children learn to develop a facility in reading, writing and understanding Hebrew. Daily services are held to establish familiarity with the prayers. Wherever possible, secular and Jewish activities are integrated in the fields of music, art and language: the visual and auditory language of self expression. Parents are encouraged to take part in various religious learning activities and to support Torah teachings their children are receiving at school.
