On Tuesday 12^th April, the last day of term, Year Three paid a visit to Lauderdale Road Synagogue.  This time, however, they were not visiting the Synagogue itself, but the blossoming apple trees in the Synagogue’s Biblical Garden.

The reason for this unusual visit was to recite the beautiful blessing for seeing fruit trees in blossom, which is said only in the Hebrew month of Nissan.  The children were delighted to be joined by Rabbi Levy for the occasion.
