Support for Soup Kitchen

On Tuesday 23^rd November, we were honoured and delighted to welcome Rabbi Abraham Israel, Founder of Hazon Yeshaya, to our assembly. 

Hazon Yeshaya is a charity organisation set up by Rabbi Israel to provide hot meals for Israeli children who are living below the poverty line.  They currently operate sixty soup kitchens providing over 13,000 hot meals per day across Israel.

Thanks to the generosity of our parents, we raised £5076.04 for this extremely worthy cause.  As the pupils of Year Five had raised the most money, they were chosen to present the cheque to Rabbi Israel.
