Hoshana Rabba
Last Wednesday morning, Years 3-6 went to Lauderdale Road Synagogue to celebrate Hoshana Rabba together with the wider community. Some of our Year Five and Six boys led parts of the Selihot, whilst many of our pupils carried their Lulavim around the Teva. Another feature of the Hoshana Rabba service was the beating of the willow branches on the ground, which our children performed with gusto. We were then treated to a delicious breakfast in the Succa which was thoroughly appreciated by pupils and staff alike. The children then led the Birkat Hamazon.
